In recent years, advanced foreign sterile storage tank systems have been continuously imported, stimulating the development and production of such equipment by domestic enterprises in my country. In the past two years, small aseptic storage tanks have been produced in Shanghai, Zhejiang, Guangdong and other places, which has played a good role in promoting the development of aseptic packaging technology in my country. However, such domestic equipment generally has problems such as short sterilization time, unstable sterilization performance, low degree of automation, and low output. Drawing lessons from the principles of similar foreign advanced equipment, it is planned to conduct an in-depth theoretical discussion on the sterility of this equipment in order to facilitate localization.
Structure of aseptic storage tank system
Sterile storage tank is a buffer tank and storage tank that receives sterile materials. It mainly consists of three parts: tank body, valve group and control.
The tank body is made of SUS304 stainless steel and the structure is jacketed. The maximum working pressure of the tank is 0.3MPa, and it can also withstand vacuum. The height of the tank legs is adjustable. There is a rotating cleaning ball installed on the top of the tank, which can be switched to the CIP to clean the tank. There is a water distributor on the upper part of the jacket of the sterile storage tank to facilitate cooling of the tank after sterilization.
The aseptic storage tank valve group uses the world-famous fluid equipment manufacturer - Alfa Laval's aseptic valves and the British Spirax Sarco's steam valves. The aseptic storage tank valve group organically connects steam pipelines, CIP pipelines, sterile air pipelines, and material pipelines.
The insulation material of the sterile storage tank is made of high temperature resistant and anti-aging polyurethane foam or pearl cotton.
The interface of the sterile storage tank adopts the international standard quick-installation chuck type, and the liner is made of imported 316L or 304. The inner surface is mirror polished Ra≤0.28μm, and the outer surface is polished matte, mirror surface, sandblasted or cold-rolled primary color matte.
The nozzle of the sterile storage tank has a liquid level gauge (capacitive, non-contact ultrasonic or glass tube type), air breathing port, thermometer (digital display or dial type), CIP cleaning port, sight glass, explosion-proof sight light, SIP sterilization port, liquid inlet and outlet and manhole, etc.
